Oct. 2 - Harvest Festival; squash seed-saving workshops, hay-rides, more. 890 acre non-profit organic farm w/mission to save the world’s diverse, endangered, garden heritage. Hiking trails, display & preservation gardens, shop.
Seed Savers Exchange is saving the world's diverse, but endangered, garden heritage for future generations by building a network of people committed to collecting, conserving and sharing heirloom seeds and plants, while educating people about the value of genetic and cultural diversity. Seed Savers is also home to a herd of Ancient White Park Cattle and six species of Heritage Poultry. In addition, there are over 8.5 miles of gorgeous hiking trails and three trout streams. The Lillian Goldman Visitors Center and Garden Shop at Seed Savers Exchange Heritage Farm is open April - December, M-F 9-5 and Weekends 10-5. Open to the public!
